The Clarke Group, headquartered in Lisnaskea, Co.Fermanagh
is a family run company, established in the 1930s.
Since then the company has continually grown and expanded
and now have offices in Dublin, Cavan, Monaghan
and Portlaoise. We employ approximately 400 staff and have upwards on a further 700 sub-contractors working on specific contracts throughout the country.
Traditionally originating as a quarry company supplying to local markets the Clarke Group have become a story of continued growth and diversification developing into an organisation with six clearly defined divisions: Communications, Contracts, Homes, Products, Stone & Surfacing.
In 2003 the company expanded the business to launch a Homes Division, manufacturing timber frame home kits, roof trusses and internal pre-hung door units. The Division is now recognised as a major supplier throughout Ireland, supplying a high quality, professionally designed, yet competitively priced timber frame kit.
Products on offer from the Stone and Products Division include:
Pre-Stressed Concrete Flooring, Decorative Concrete Products,
Paving, Reconstituted and Natural Cut Stone, Ready Mix Products
and Quarry Aggregates. In March 2005 the Products Division
further expanded opening a 2400sq metre state of the art flooring
plant in Drung, Co. Cavan manufacturing pre-stressed hollowcore
and plate flooring.
Clarke Surfacing Division have now become a market leader
in the supply and laying of asphalt products having over 40
years of experience. Projects range in size from major road schemes through to private domestic driveways.
Clarke Communications Division, established in 1999 have
become one of the leading communications contractors servicing
communication suppliers such as Eircom and ESB. Delivering
high end copper and fibre telecommunications networks throughout
Ireland for a wide range of customers ranging from high profile
blue chip to Government Broadband Projects.
Clarke Contracts Division manage civil engineering, domestic and industrial building projects, water meter installations and distribution mains. Reservoirs and water treatment plants are also included in the portfolio of projects which keeps the division at the forefront of Irish Construction.
