The project will be handled by the group’s Clones-based Contracts’ division who have worked with a number of County Councils; The Water Service and various private sector clients.
As xxxxxx from Clarkes explains the project has significant
strategic importance:
"Our Contracts division recently made the
strategic decision to expand into the Property Development
market to complement our traditional operating areas within
water, wastewater treatment and related projects."
"Marketplace research predicts an increasing
movement by Government bodies in offloading land and building
projects to private companies. The Monaghan Town regeneration
project is the first such project in which the Clarke Group
has been involved. We are very proud to have been given
the job of constructing and managing the redevelopment of
this key area of land. We would be confident that
this project will allow the company to develop and grow in
the property development market with other Government bodies
and private companies."
Ends.
