Contracts Manager – Asphalt Division Ref: 08/012/CM
Based at our Head Office in Lisnaskea, Co. Fermanagh, this position will involve:
- Managing teams working on civil engineering and road surfacing contracts
- Ensuring the successful delivery of projects in a professional manner
- Managing the pricing and tendering processes
- Engaging and financially managing sub-contractors
- Agreeing final accounts and managing contract costs
- Liaising with our high-profile client base
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold a diploma/degree in civil engineering or a construction-related discipline
- Have extensive knowledge of specifications for Highway/Roadworks and ICE/ICI Conditions of Contract
- Have a broad understanding of the activities associated with tendering, planning, managing and delivering highway surfacing projects
- Have relevant experience in a similar position
- Have the ability to work under pressure to meet challenging deadlines
- Be computer literate, and hold a full clean driving licence
- Have excellent organisational and communication skills, and be commercially aware
